An American woman, Morgan, living in Palestine with her family in the West Bank, showed the devastation of Ramallah’s major food and goods market being intentionally targeted and burned in the middle of the night, 5/30. All of the fresh produce is gone. This is the central place for many in the greater area to get fresh foods and other goods. We have seen time and time again Israel’s actions in Gaza mirrored throughout the rest of occupied Palestine. It’s not enough Gaza is being starved to death for Israel – now Ramallah’s food supply is similarly attacked. It isn’t enough for their food to be destroyed, either – Israel bombed the Balata refugee camp in eastern Nablus. How many refugee camp massacres are we at now since 10/7? I can’t even count them all. The invastion of the West Bank mirrors the atrocities early on in Gaza. The only difference is this time Israeli settler-colonists are part of the invasion force – at least 5 busloads of them were seen accompanied by Israeli forces entering Nablus 5/29.
Israel cannot be allowed to continue to go unchecked. You must stand up and leverage every avenue available to make Israel obey the binding ICJ and ICC rulings and enforce a permanent ceasefire. Our country can stop this without more bloodshed by simply stopping all military and financial support. In the past 24 hours alone, at least 53 Palestinians have been murdered and 357 injured by Israeli forces. At least 2 paramedics were among those murdered today as they were en route to try and rescue the injured near Tal as-Sultan. The ground invasion into Rafah has only continued to expand, and without you taking decisive action now, this will not stop.
I demand that you:
– Hold Israel accountable for a permanent, immediate ceasefire, their violations of the Genocide Convention, and gross human rights violations by any means necessary

The 3rd intentional bombing of refugee tent camps in just 2 days happened not too long ago when I’m writing this, 5/28. This time, it was tents in Al-Mawasi where Palestinians burned to death. It was only the beginning of this month when Israel dropped evacuation leaflets across Rafah telling people to evacuate to areas including Al-Mawasi. We’ve seen the same pattern since 10/7 over and over, but it never becomes less disturbing and heartbreaking.
The Kuwaiti Hospital is now completely out of service due to lack of fuel. Prior to the shutdown, patients had to be treated immediately outside due to the sweltering heat inside the building where power had been cut off from everywhere but the most essential units. Israel’s ground assault and artillery fire has reached as far as the vicinity of the Kuwaiti Hospital. All patients and medical staff have been forced to relocate north to Khan Younis. All field hospitals in western Rafah are out of service. Khan Younis has been leveled. The former major hospital in the area, Nasser Medical Complex, has also been flattened.
This forced evacuation and displacement has forced the Kuwaiti Hospital’s severe burn patients from Israel’s recent massacre burning people alive, to leave. When Dr Muhammad al-Mughayer arrived at the scene, he described massive fires spreading across the tent refugee camp, and bodies burned severely, with limbs blown off. The few international medical staff that have been allowed to enter are being further restricted by Israel in the amount of supplies they can bring. Currently, the supplies that international medical staff can physically carry in with them are the major source of new supplies.
I demand that you:

Unlike the repeated and long proven lie of 40 beheaded babies on 10/7, I will never be able to get the images out of my head of the baby that was decaptiated in Israel’s recent massacre in Rafah. I wish it were the only one – back in April the descreated Palestinian bodies were buried in mass graves at Al-Shifa and Nasser hospitals. The bodies, which includes children and babies, were mutilated – skinned, beheaded, missing organs. Descriptions of the massacre are heartbreaking – Gazan dentist Abu Salah describes how there are no pain relievers or other medical supplies to treat the extensive casualities and burn victims. Bodies are found scattered, dismembered by the force of the bombs targeted on a tent refugee camp. People were burned alive. The description of a woman carrying the ashes of her 6 children in the palm of her hand, shell-shocked and consumed with grief. Approximlately 45 have been murdered that have been identified so far. Israel murdered an additional 160 that day after bombing other refugee camps in Jabalia, Nuseirat and Gaza City.
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital is in danger of a complete shut down, again, due to Israel blocking a delivery of fuel to keep the generators running. 1,200 patients are relying on the hospital’s services. 600 are kidney failure patients who require dialysis machines in order to survive. There are 20 NICU babies at risk of imminent death if power to their incubators fails. Before the small delivery of fuel that’s kept some of the hospital’s electricity going, the difficult decision to cut power to the entire hospital except the NICU had to be made. Doctors were wrapping babies in blankets and trying to keep them warm with their hands. All patients, including the many child casualties, received treatment by the light of cellphones. The hospital has advised they need 50,000 litres of fuel in order to continue to operate for at least 10 days.
Elsewhere in occupied Palestine, settler colonial terrorists hung by a noose a child-size doll dressed in a kufiya inside a synagogue and celebrated it. Israeli forces destroyed several Palestinian shops in Hizma, in occupied Jersualem. This didn’t stop there – they even destroyed barns for sheep and livestock. The entirety of Palestine is being terrorized. This administration fully has the power to stop this immediately, but you’ve chosen instead to deepen your complicity and participation in genocide.

Despite the ICJ’s recent ruling for additional provisional measures for Israel to immediately halt the ground offense and bombardments of Rafah, today, 5/25, Israeli tanks and troops are advancing towards Rafah. Israel’s claim that the ICJ’s ruling is “outrageous, morally repugnant, and disgusting”, would be laughable if their circumvention of international law did not come at the cost of over 2 million Palestinians being starved to death in Gaza, and the ongoing brutal Israeli terrorist attacks across occupied-Palestine. Every accusation is a confession. Israel’s actions, even well before 10/7, have been outrageous, morally repugnant, and disgusting.
In another poor attempt at propaganda, Israel recently circulated photos of “the commander of the Qassam Brigades’ Rafah battalion”, using the photo of Egyptian Sports Journalist Mohamed Shabana. Again, it’d be hilarious if it didn’t now endanger every single Palestinian man who resembles Shabana as Israeli forces invade, terrorize, and continue to commit war crimes in Gaza.
Under the cover of most of the world’s attention on Gaza, Israel is escalating their ground troop invasion, bombardments, and terroristic acts in the West Bank. If Israel continues to be unchecked, we will see the rest of occupied Palestine under the same conditions as Gaza. This has always been Israel’s end game. The towns of Yabrud, Ni’lin, and Beit Rima are currently facing the brunt of the attacks by both Israeli forces and settler-colonial terrorists, whose actions Israel both approves of and helps facilitate. Palestinians are being abducted as they approach the apartheid check points, today it was the Al-Sahira Gate where Israeli forces were caught abducting two Palestinian children. Israel is not only nearing its end goal of annihilating the entire population of the Gaza Strip, the attacks have escalated across occupied Palestine. It’s only been a few days after Israel’s terrorist National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called for even more violence towards Palestinians. Today, 4/14, Israeli settler-colonial terrorists destroyed 30+ olive and almond trees in the occupied West Bank near the illegal Barkan settlement. I wish it stopped there – several Israeli soldiers burned a Palestinian family’s car in the West Bank. On the video recording of the terror attack, you can hear them say, “These are the scum of nations…the dirtiest creatures on this earth…they are not human.” Elsewhere in the West Bank near the village of Kafr Malik, Israeli soldiers provided back-up for settler-colonial terrorists who have been attacking and shooting people. A young man was injured.
Yesterday in Duma, West Bank, Israeli settler-colonial terrorists stormed the area, lit houses and cars on fire, and indiscriminately opened fire on the town. No one knows how Binyamin Achimair tragically died in the area, the Israeli teen whose death is being used to justify the collective punishment and attempted annihilation of an entire town.
Ben-Gvir has emboldened, incited, and encouraged violence against Palestinians well before 10/7, and has only escalated his rhetoric in recent weeks. Every time he calls for violence, sure enough, it comes through.

Earlier today, 4/6, another 45 Palestinians were taken by Israeli forces as they were leaving Al-Aqsa after prayer. Since 10/7, approximately 8,000 Palestinians have been abducted and held indefinitely in “military prison” aka concentration death camps. The conditions that all Palestinian hostages face are beyond comprehension. On 4/5, a psychiatrist in Gaza, Dr. Mustafa Elmasri, advised that a recent woman released after 42 days of torture described how “peep-shows” would be organized for Israeli civilians to watch as she and others were tortured and humiliated.
An Israeli doctor at the Sde Teiman army base reported to Israeli news outlet Haaretz today that detained Palestinians face “deplorable conditions” – including routine amputations required due to severe injuries to limbs from prolonged handcuffs and ties. The doctor explicitly stated the operations at this hospital “compromise inmates’ health and violate medical ethics.” He went on to describe how the complete disregard for safety often caused significant complications, including deaths.

Yesterday, 3/2, while our Airforce was dropping food to Gazans being starved by Israel, over 100 airstrikes were indiscriminately dropped in 15 minutes concentrated in northern and eastern Khan Younis and south and east of Deir Al-Balah in the southern and central Gaza. While I am glad that the U.S. has stepped up to drop aid, not only is it woefully insufficient, Israel then dropped bombs we provided them to murder more Palestinians. As of today, Israel has continue to besiege a large residential complex in Khan Younis. The people are surrounded by tanks and are murdered if they try to leave.
The violence has never been confined to Gaza – yesterday Professor Tayseer Al-Jaber was abducted and detained without charge after Israeli forces stormed his home in Tulkarm, West Bank. Israel has abducted approximately 7,340 Palestinians from the West Bank since 10/7, whose fates are unknown as they are tortured in death camps, “military prison”.
Amnesty International has outlined the irrefutable evidence that Israel’s Flour Massacre on 2/29, where over 112 people being starved by Israel were murdered and over 750 were wounded after Israeli forces indiscriminately fired into a crowd waiting for food, was an intentional act. Israel’s story has changed multiple times, and no version has coincided with the reality of what they did and continue to do.
As of 3/3, approximately 30,400 – 38,000 Palestinians have been murdered in Gaza since 10/7. Their blood is on your hands.
I demand that you:
– Call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire
– Call for the immediate end of Israel’s occupation and apartheid and support Palestinians in their fight for freedom and peace
– Hold Israel accountable for their violations of the Genocide Convention and all other international laws by any means necessary
– Secure the immediate release and safety of all Palestinians who have been abducted and held captive by Israel, including those whose indefinite detention began prior to 10/7
– Permanently end all monetary, diplomatic, and military aid given to Israel and enforce Leahy Law
– Reallocate all funds given to Israel and commit additional resources for ongoing humanitarian relief for Palestinians starting with immediately resume funding of UNRWA
– Immediately withdraw all U.S. troops, military assets, and all other assets deployed throughout the Middle East and cease all actions that further escalate a larger regional conflict
– Pass legislation that voids all anti-BDS laws at the federal level
– Restore my right to free speech and the freedom of the press by condemning all discrimination or harassment for criticizing any government or political ideology (including zionism) and by doing everything possible to prevent future assaults to my rights, including governmental control and/or censorship of the Internet

While Telegram channels on their own are not necessarily credible news reporting, I have found the work Praxis Redacted has done consolidating both official news sources and unofficial citizen reporting (before it becomes breaking news) to be credible, accurate, and substantiated hours or sometimes days later by mainstream news.
Since mid-October when I began following the news about the genocide (and Praxis Redacted), I have not found an incident where sources cited or descriptions used were later proved to be false. I have every reason to believe the events cited below are true.

Al Jazeera quotes 30,410 dead as of 3/3/24. Al Jazeera always includes the most up-to-date official death tolls on their Breaking/live updates page. Because the daily live pages are refreshed so frequently for each new day, I can’t link you to a specific date. You can always check the Breaking/live section on their site for the most recent official numbers.
EuroMed Monitor quotes an estimated 38,066 dead shown on an infographic posted on their Instagram (link to post) as of 2/23/24. Their website has past infographics, but does not currently have this newest one included as of writing this blog post. This is not unusual- I believe they first post on social media and then add to the infographic section of their site later. Prior infographics posted on Instagram and then shown on their site have the exact same figures & data.
*Why are multiple sources used for the death count?
The situation in Gaza has only gotten worse since the AP published this article on 11/21. The official numbers we are seeing from Gaza’s Ministry of Health are undercounted, and have been since at least 11/21.
EuroMed Monitor is a NGO established in 2011 that advocates for the human rights of all persons across Europe and the MENA region. They have a regional office in the Palestinian Occupied Territories. I believe their estimates are credible which is why I quote them, and will continue to, when referring to the estimated death toll.
My personal opinion is that the true number is even higher than estimated- people are dying from starvation, thirst, infections, and illnesses. Even if the genocide ended this moment, these types of deaths will unfortunately continue for some time. I believe their deaths should be counted. They may not have been shot/bombed/etc. by the Israeli military, but their deaths are directly attributable to the total siege, occupation, and intentional** destruction of civilian, water, waste management, and medical infrastructure by Israel.

While children like Ahmad are indefinitely detained in military prison death camps and subjected to the torture of solitary confinement to be interrogated for over a month, or Bashar Nihad Abdulatif Hanani who was executed via a gun shot to the back of the head in the West Bank, Israeli terrorists block humanitarian aid. The excuses for this ethnic cleansing genocidal campaign are thin to nonexistent.
Before Bashar succumbed to his injuries, the EMS brought him to a medical facility and the IDF soldiers responsible followed. From the eyewitness accounts “One paramedic, fearing arrest, said that Bashar fell from the wall. One soldier replied in English, “We are the ones who shot him,” and left.”” Ahmad was threatened before being released if he did anything they would add months or years to his detention.
The backdrop for these horrors is the recent U.S. federal judge ruling that Israel is plausibly committing a genocide in the Defense for Children International v. Biden court case. If a statement from our own courts does not qualify has credible information under Leahy law vetting policy, then I don’t know what would. It should have been enough when senior DoS official Josh Paul who served as the Director in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, which is responsible for U.S. defense diplomacy, security assistance, and arms transfers resigned due to credible concerns Leahy vetting policy and other laws governing foreign assistance to forces committing human rights violations were not being followed for Israel.
Leahy vetting policy only requires one credible report for a foreign force to be ineligible for military assistance and funding. Those responsible for creating and implementing Leahy vetting policy are the ones who’d be held accountable if the law was broken – Biden, Blinken, and Austin. There is no accountability when our own laws are being broken.
Yesterday, on 3/1, a group of Israeli terrorists from the Nachala settlement organization “broke through” into Gaza where they began constructing small buildings. They even named the “settlement” – New Nisanit. The IDF didn’t interfere until after the terrorists had constructed these makeshift buildings. Why does this matter exactly? Well, Israel’s Absentees’ property law allows for settler-colonists to take land and property. This law was made early in Israel’s founding and was used to justify the ethnic cleansing that took place prior to and after the 1948 Nakba. All that’s required is a “claim” – the makeshift buildings – and settlers can petition their government for ownership.
Their plans have been clear from the beginning from the mouths of their people and government that their intention has always been to ethnically cleanse Gaza and take the land, just as they continue to do in the West Bank. This is abhorrent, unconscionable, and disgusting. Do the right thing. Start with calling for a ceasefire and enforcing Leahy law.

I haven’t forgotten the leaked “concept paper” where Israel outlined exactly what they are doing now back in October. Every moment of this systematic genocidal ethnical cleansing campaign is going exactly the way they planned. They have pushed most of the population of Gaza to the Rafah border and are now working to push whoever is still alive after the ongoing, vicious assault on the most densely populated part of the world into the Sinai desert. The next step is to murder as many Palestinians as possible, and then blockade them from ever being able to return so that colonists can begin taking over the land. The Israeli government and their own people have explicitly stated this since October.
The illegal occupier you support without question isn’t just terrorizing the Gaza strip. Credible reports from UN Human Rights experts were released yesterday detailing the sexual violence and torture the Palestinian women and children are subjected to inside of the death camps “prison” they’ve been indefinitely detained into. Save The Children’s 2023 report on the conditions for children, which pre-dates 10/7, goes into more detail about these horrifying conditions. Israel’s recent extra-judicial murder of several Palestinians in their hospital beds in the West Bank shows how this violence doesn’t end at the death camps, either. All of occupied-Palestine is the largest concentration camp in the world.
I know you know all of this, and you still do nothing. You have proven to the American people you truly have no soul or humanity. I fear for the future of this country knowing we have terrorist supporters and genocide apologists in power.
